How to Delete FB Account PASSWORD Saved in Google Smart Lock

Google Smart Lock is a feature that makes it easy for us to save passwords and login information from various accounts, including Facebook. This feature allows automatic login without having to re-enter email or password. Although this feature is convenient, there is a security risk if the cellphone is borrowed or used by someone else. Therefore, it is important to know how to delete a Facebook account stored in Google Smart Lock so that it is not misused.

Here are easy steps to delete a Facebook account from Google Smart Lock on an Android cellphone:

1. Open Android Phone Settings

The first step that needs to be done is to enter the Settings or Settings menu on your Android cellphone. Look for the gear icon which is usually found on the home screen or in the application menu. From here, you can access various settings options, including managing your saved accounts.

2. Access Google Settings

Once you're in Settings, scroll down until you find the Google option. Here you can manage various Google services, including the accounts saved in Google Smart Lock.

3. Select Google Account

If you have more than one Google account saved on your phone, select the account that you use to save your passwords and social media accounts, including Facebook. If you're not sure which account you're using, check all the Google accounts saved on your device to find the Facebook data you want to delete.

4. Open the Security Tab

After selecting the correct Google account, tap the Manage Your Google Account option. Here you'll find various settings related to your Google account, including security. At the top of the screen, select the Security tab to access your account security settings.

5. Find Password Manager

Scroll down until you find the Password Manager option. This is where all of your saved passwords in Google Smart Lock, including your Facebook account, are stored. You can see a list of sites and apps that have saved passwords here.

6. Select Facebook Account

On the Password Manager page, find Facebook from the list of available sites and apps. Once you find your Facebook account, tap it to view the account details, such as your email and saved passwords. You'll usually be asked to enter your phone's screen lock as a security verification step before proceeding.

7. Remove Facebook Account

After you've entered your Facebook account details, there will be an option to Remove the account from Google Smart Lock. Tap the Remove option at the bottom right. By doing this, your Facebook account will no longer be saved in Google Smart Lock, and automatic login will no longer occur on your device.

8. Disable Password Saving and Auto-Login Options

To prevent your account from being automatically saved again in the future, there are a few additional settings you need to change. Tap the gear icon at the top right and disable Offer Password Saving and Auto-Login. By disabling these two features, you will no longer be offered to save your password, and automatic login will also be disabled.

9. Test the Results

Once all the steps above are complete, you should test whether your Facebook account is still saved in Google Smart Lock. Try opening the Facebook app and see if you are still offered the saved account. If not, then the deletion process has been successful.

Deleting a Facebook account stored in Google Smart Lock is an important step to keep your account secure, especially if your phone is often borrowed or used by other people. By following the steps above, you can ensure that your account cannot be accessed automatically without permission. In addition, disabling the password saving and automatic login options can prevent your account from being saved again in the future.
